I joined WEB my freshman year to become more active on campus and meet new people with similar interests.
How WEB has helped you?
WEB has helped me learn a lot about the business world. Over the years, I have developed skills which prepared me for interviews and internships. It also allowed me to build a network with professionals and other members.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
My favorite part of WEB is that there is a variety of activities. I find the professional events really helpful. I like the community service events because it allows me to give back to the community. I also love social events because they allow you to get to know everyone in the club.

What made you join WEB?
I got a flyer at the block party and talked to the girls at the table and they made WEB sound really helpful. The informational convinced me that it would benefit my future.
How WEB has helped you?
I have gotten to network with not only students but recruiters that have given me really good advice. Also, the social events have taken me out of my comfort zone which is good.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
The Harvard trip for sure and the meetings because there are great speakers. Also, there are great girls in the group.

I knew during my freshmen year I wanted to become involved on campus and WEB was one of the clubs I found at the block party. Everyone was so welcoming and I knew I wanted to be a part of a group of students with similar interests and goals as I have.
How WEB has helped you?
WEB has helped me grow as I have gotten to make connections with many professionals. I have gotten to network, build my resume, and take on a new role.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
My favorite part of WEB is the variety of events we put on- from business related to community service or social events. The Harvard trip is also a great time.

I joined WoMen Excelling in Business my freshman year as a way to meet new people on campus.
How WEB has helped you?
WEB has helped me network with students and business professionals as well as better my professional skills through LinkedIn and resume writing workshops.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
My favorite part of WEB is definitely taking part in social events. My favorite event last semester was indoor rock climbing which helped push me out of my comfort zone while being supported by my fellow club members.

When I first came to UAlbany as a freshmen, I went to the block party where I was introduced to WEB and it was great because we all seemed to have common interests.

I have become a more vocal speaker on the importance of equal rights for women and it has made me more interactive and open with professionals.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
Bonding and getting to know the other girls because of events like the breast cancer walk and the Harvard trip.

My favorite part of WEB is how applicable and transferable everything we do and learn about in the club is. I also love that though we are a business club, it is incredibly important for us to give back to our community through an emphasis on community service events.

I originally joined WEB because I wanted to be in a club that was focused on, but wasn't entirely about, the business world and how to prepare for it. I think WEB is the perfect example of that because we also value the social and community service aspects as well as the professional.
How WEB has helped you?
WEB has helped me to come out of my shell a bit more; never did I think that I would be on the Eboard for a club, so it has definitely broadened my horizons.
Your favorite aspect of WEB?
My favorite part of WEB is that it creates a space for other young women like myself to surround themselves with people who share similar values and goals. It's a great place to bounce ideas off each other and meet genuine people.

My favorite aspect of WEB is that although we are a business-focused club, we take time to do community service and social events that help us bond. Every event has allowed me to both get to know members and network with important people in the business world.
